Luray Caverns commercials

Luray Caverns are located West of Luray, Virginia and consist largely of spectacular stalactites and stalagmites created from limestone mountains softened and eroded by water over time. Luray Caverns was discovered and opened to the public in 1878... 50 cents for a ticket back then!

I went once as a child and have seen the ads below a lot on TV recently. Whenever I hear the video game sounds from "Garden Maze" below, my head always turns to the television screen, so I thought I’d look online for more ads. On the Luray Caverns YouTube page, I also found "Wider," "A New Perspective" and "Bravo" (highlighting the Stalacpipe Organ). Each ad is unique and I think they’ve really done a strong job branding this tourist attraction. The ads are almost as much fun as a trip to the actual caverns!

Watch below…

The Stalacpipe Organ was also on "Ripley's Believe It or Not."

And did you know Mr. Rogers came to Luray Caverns for an episode?!

Also, Luray Caverns was featured on the kids' show, "What in the World?"

Did you learn something today kids??
